Origins

Vorlage was conceived by one of our owners in July 2006, halfway down Ruined Castle at Falls Creek Ski Resort. After many seasons, he'd finally found his balance over the tips and tails of his skis. No longer did he have to fight his skis; he could manoeuvre with ease. He was able to ride the bumps, seamlessly adapt to the varying conditions, swerve obstacles and quickly change direction when he saw better terrain. What a great analogy for a company!

During the ensuing apres-skiing, he recounted the story to a well seasoned German skier. The Germans' response, “Is what we call in Germany the Vorlage. You found it.”.
